From Washington, D.C. Legacy.com cites Ramond's obituary which was published in the Washington Post, March 6, 2016. The obituary states that Raymond was a soldier in WWII and served with General George Patton, he then went onto work for the Washington Gas Light Company. He was an antique map collector, amateur filmmaker, and a prolific music collector, collecting over 10,000 sound records in different formats.
