James R. Pollock (1903-1989) was the Director of Visual Education for the Vancouver School Board, and a member of the National Film Society of Canada (Vancouver Branch). In the years 1938-1940 he was vice-president of the society. In 1939 he collaborated on the Coast Films production Stanley Park.
