"Formerly of Somerville, MA, died in Palo Alto, CA on March 19, 2002 at age 78. Graduated from Somerville High School Class of 1941. Served in the Pacific Theater of W.W. II with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and in the post war occupation of Japan. Educated at Boston University graduating in 1951. He was a long time employee of WBZ TV News Dept. as a cinema photographer. He photographed the riot at Charles Street Jail and many hurricanes. He later traveled the country with Mike Wallace interviewing important personalities across the United States. He traveled with Steve Allen and Merv Griffin. He received high commendations on his travels with Benny Goodman to the Brussels World Fair in 1957. He was one of the main directors of an award winning motion picture entitled "The Honeymoon Killers" which was rated one of the top foreign films shown in Europe. He also authored several books."
