"Trawlers docked. Getting up smoke. Casting off. Leaving port. Screw log operating. Nets 'shot' over side; trawling starts. Glass floats made; cook washes-up; ventilators painted. Catch (rays, skate, crabs, dogfish, sole, octopus and shellfish) hauled in; sorted; gutted. Wicker baskets lowered into hold. Nets repaired. Nets stowed and roped up; trawler makes for port."
