Yonkers, New York, USA
"A visit by the city police has been but one of the difficulties encountered by the North Yonkers Cine Clubin completing Murder on the Set, its second full length production. Neighbors, hearing pistol shots at one in the morning, called the officers in a hurry, only to find that it was the Yonkers club filming the climactic scenes of their mystery thriller. Another near catastrophe threatened when the owners of a deserted mansion which was being used for background shots decided to tear down the house. The club caught its final scenes there as the interior fittings were being moved away. Production work, however, is now completed and the Yonkers group is looking forward to a premiere this month." (Moore 544)
The founded date is the earliest mention of the club.
