Yosian Club is a nature organization: "The Yosian Club, a nature organization in New York City, has formed an amateur movie unit within its ranks. Film records of hikes and of the club's outdoor activities have already been undertaken and the new unit plans the early production of an amateur photoplay. Programs featuring talks and demonstrations of screen acting, makeup and photographic technique are held regularly. Edward L. Gruber is leader of this group and William Hoeferlin is secretary. On the production committee are Robert J. Allaire, supervisor; Ernst Asseln, settings; Al Friedland, business manager; Mr. Gruber, cameraman." (Gale 166)
